The Poway High School Music Boosters

The Poway High School Music Boosters (PHSMB) organization is a volunteer nonprofit group that works on behalf of the instrumental music program at Poway High School. The program includes the Emerald Brigade, Concert Bands, Orchestra, Jazz Bands, and Color Guard. The PHSMB officers, directors, special committee members, and parent volunteers support the enrichment of all of the students who participate. It is a labor of love and very gratifying.

General membership PHSMB meetings are usually held on every third Tuesday of each month in the PHS Band Room (N1). Please check our event calendar for specific meeting dates and times. All parents of band, orchestra, jazz bands, and color guard students are encouraged to attend. During the meeting, Booster Officers, Band Directors, and Special Committee Members will present program updates. These meetings are a great opportunity to ask questions, get information about current activities and events, and meet other parents.

The primary goal of the PHSMB organization is to raise the necessary funds to ensure that the PHS Instrumental Music Program continues to provide a music education of the highest caliber to all interested students. To meet this goal, funds are raised through parent and community donations and fundraising activities. Additionally, PHSMB members support the music program by contributing time, materials, and labor to events, publicizing fundraisers, and promoting it through print, online, and social media.
