Celebrating and honoring Chelsea's memory, this award and $250 scholarship
is presented to the senior student who best demonstrates Chelsea's passion
for music. Your contribution in any amount to help fund this award for future
graduates is most appreciated.
Scale testing dates for the Spring 2012 semester have been announced.
Ad-lib Productions has been producing the PHS music video for several years. You get 90 minutes of
great musical entertainment from one of San Diego counties best music programs. This DVD is a
"must" for your video library. 
The purpose of the Poway High School Music Boosters is to promote and encourage instrumental
music and support the associated activities related to the success of the Poway High School
Instrumental Music Program. Please check back, often, for updates, upcoming events, pictures,
fund raising information, and more!
This video is a way for incoming freshman and their parents to understand more about the marching
band and hopefully help them decide whether or not they would like to become a part of the organization.
Students should know that marching band is one of the best ways to not only continue excelling at their
instrument but also for making great friendships.
Jack Stamp gives one of the best examples of exactly why music education is so important and
belongs in our schools. Dr. Stamp is Director of Band Studies at Indiana University of
Pennsylvania.
If you are looking to take a summer class there are many options.
PUSD has announced online courses to be offered on a Trimester system.
Welcome back alumni students and parents. Would you like to reconnect with the Emerald Brigade
and PHS Music Program?
We have initiated a recycling fundraising program that will help the environment and raise funds for
the Music Program. 
This is a great opportunity for Twin Peaks and Meadowbrook band & orchestra families to get to know
Poway High band & orchestra families and to ask any questions they have about the PHS Instrumental Music
Program.
Auditions for the 2012 Emerald Brigade drumline and front ensemble. Students will be placed in the
section they will be most successful in for the 2012 marching band season. Front Ensemble members
will be placed on the instrument they will be most successful on. Students will learn exercises,
technique, and possible some of the 2012 field show.
Join us as the PHS jazz band joins the Twin Peaks Middle School jazz band for a concert at TPMS in the main quad.
Join us for an evening celebrating the PHS Orchestra. Dinner begins at 5:00 pm in front of the
PAC (reservation forms will be available - $5 for orchestra students/$10 for guests). The
Orchestra Spring Concert begins at 7 pm in the PAC, featuring senior solos. Admission for adults
is $5 (free for 18 and under and for season pass holders). Orchestra awards will follow the concert.
