All 8th graders (interested in being in Orchestra/Band/Color Guard at Poway High School) AND their families, and all PHS Orchestra, Band, and Color Guard students AND their families are invited to a picnic in Garden Road Park on Saturday, June 1. This is an excellent chance for 8th graders to meet high school students and ask questions about high school and the music program. Their parents have the chance to meet high school parents and ask questions about what to expect next year.
This will be an informal get-together – bring your pop-ups, chairs, blankets, frisbees, footballs, etc. The picnic is potluck-style – bring your favorite dish to share. Pizza and water will be provided. Feel free to bring your own soda or favorite drink.
